Mice - Do electronic repellents actually work?

Been having a slight mouse problem and am getting a bit fed up removing tiny little carcasses from the traps.





Keep seeing these electronic things that you plug in (they supposedly disourage the little blighters from coming into your house.

I haven't a major problem with them but knew that we had had some mice in the house recently. I bought a pack of 4 from B%26amp;Q for about 拢30 I think and haven't noticed anything since.
