just bought a house and discovered two dead mice in the basement. my first reaction was to get mouse poison make sure any live ones are killed, but i'm trying to be a little more humane. plus i don't want them to die in random places and stink up the house, but i want to make sure they are all gone! any suggestions?What is a humane way to get rid of mice?
There are humane traps that will allow you to trap them and remove them to another area. This will only work if you figure out how they are getting in your house and block this access. Mice can get in though a hole the size of a dime! If you relocate them and they have a nest in your attic, or walls - they will find there way back.What is a humane way to get rid of mice?
Blast Joe Jackson's ';Stepping out'; in your basement. The sound of that will drive them, and every other living thing, miles away.
There's humane, and then there's natural. A cat will help tremendously.
Trap them and take them to a zoo.
