Are dwarf rats just abut the same as mice?

I would like to know because if they are the same as mice I will not get one but if they act just like standard size rats I will get one thanks. Are dwarf rats just abut the same as mice?
Not even close! Mice are their own species, and have nothing to do with rats. Dwarf rats, which are regular rats with dwarfism (like midget people), are only a little smaller than ordinary rats, but they are rats nonetheless.

Or could you possibly be talking about soft furred rats, which are related more closely to mice, despite their name. Here is more about them: http://aqualandpetsplus.com/Animal,%20Af鈥?/a>

And remember, rats MUST have at least one other companion! You CANNOT have a single rat living on its own.

Edit: If they are rats, and not in any way relavent to mice, why would they behave like mice? Are dwarf rats just abut the same as mice?
Here is a web site that describes the differences between rats and mice.

I hope this helps
Rats and mice are not the same animal, Rats are not mice that have gotten bigger.
They act like normal stardard rats. But do research on rat before getting rats
never heard of them
