Shoot them! Or you can get a small dog like a chihuahua or Yorkshire Terrier. Thier ancestors were mouse hunters so they will catch mice (like a cat) but dogs are a million times better than a cat. Shooting them with a small caliber gun is fun too!
Get a dog. I heard that a dog was more effective at eliminating mice than cats.
get a few mates round and have a few beers then set traps and put bets on them. i would get a cat or just use rat bait, it takes time to work but does the trick. the only thing is if they die under the floor boards they will smell for a while!
Get a big cat.

I had this problem in my old flat. The poo on the kitchen worktops in the mornings drove me nuts, and them running across the room when friends were round was terminally embarrassing. I finally had it when one ran across my pillow.





I called the council, and they put traps down, but I'm a bit of a wuss and took them up before they caught anything. Then a friend offered to lend me her kitten. It lived with me for two days. When it saw a mouse, it was transfixed, because it was young %26amp; had never seen one before, but they knew what IT was..... and I never saw them again!





The kitten's smell must've got to them, even though it didn't actually catch any. They moved house. Good luck!

Please don't use glue traps or poison. Glue traps are so cruel that they've actually been outlawed in some countries. Mice have been known to gnaw off their own limbs and tear off their skin in an effort to escape, as they starve or dehydrate to death or suffocate in the glue. It can take three to five days for them to die. If you find a live mouse stuck in a glue trap, you can put it in a box, pour vegetable oil around the mouse to loosen the glue, and gently push it off the trap with a pencil or spoon. Then, you can release it outside. Of course, this is messy and stressful for both you and the mouse, so it's better to not use them in the first place.





Poison isn't any better, as the mice die slowly and painfully from internal bleeding. It can take up to a week for them to die, and then they smell as they rot behind your walls.

If you do live trap mice, please be sure to check the traps several times a day and release the mice promptly, approximately a mile away from your home. It is much more cruel to allow a mouse in a live trap to slowly starve to death than to kill it quickly with a snap trap. When you release the mice, do it in an area with some sheltering bushes or plants.





If you feel you must kill the mice, snap traps are the most humane alternative.
get some cats and let them eat the little mice or you can just keep the little mice as a pet if you want to get rid of them get a bucket of water put some peanutbutter on the tip of the bucket the peanutbutter will attract the mice and when they get ontop of the bucket they stick to the peanutbutter and they fall in the water and then they drawnit really works it is a really old trick but a very mean trick just get a big fat cat but then if it is like my cats they will not eat a little mouse because they get fed to good
We adopted a kitten that was born near our house. We feed her some cat food once or twice a day. She only lets us near her and she and her cat friends keep the mice away. She is an outdoor cat.
get a cat are maybe borrow a friends cat if you don't want one just until they have been caught, you poor thing it must be really distressing for you i no i had them once and it really upset me, i hope you get it sorted soon

well you could use bigger traps, use Spanish Chorizo sausage if you can find this where you live. they never pass this without having a nibble also put mothballs and peppermint oil around . they hate the smell of these 2 things , mice only live where there is a fresh supply of food , so if you have pets make sure you remove there food when they finish , sweep the kitchen floor at night ,don麓t leave any food lying around for them to nibble on keep things high up in tight lid containers,remove any bar soap candles , anything really they use and eat everything , but try this bate your sure to catch them with this , they can cause a lot of damage and if the start to eat through the electrical wires they can cause a fire , try these things and remember don麓t invite them for dinner, and they will soon pack there suitcases and move to another hotel
Clean your house. Get a cat and get some mouse traps. Then check to find where they are coming in. Steel wool is a deterrent


because the mouse can't chew through it. Seal up any outside holes where mice can get in and if you live near an elevator or grain storage bin-get used to having the blighters around!

Sounds corny I know, but we had the same problem with mice.





I went and got a cat, about 4 months old, haven't had the problem since.
Where did you put the traps? In the middle of the room I bet! Well try right at the edge of the skirting boards about half way along the wall (where the bottom of the wall meets the floor. Mice have runs, so try each position of the traps for about 2 or 3 nights. Dont put cheese in the traps only mickey mouse and other cartoon characators eat that.....try small pieces of bread......or even ham. Good Luck.
I like everyone's idea of a cat. But you can also buy the poison food stuff. They eat it and then go off and die. Works great.
Had the same problem, cat didn't work, poison does. Every year the mice come in for the winter, but they die. Poison is available thru good hard ware stores, garden centres, smallholding suppliers . BE AWARE poison will kill pets and you if you had sufficient quantity (unlikely). One year the mice gnawed thru the poison container to get to it. A sort of do it yourself job!

Besides getting a cat, Wal-Mart and nurseries (plant stores) sell rat and mouse poison. It comes in little trays. Its bait that the mice eat. It works. Don't use it in the open if you do have a cat.
