What is a good place to order frozen mice(for my daughters monitor)from?

You can get them delivered to your door from the link below. I don't use frozen mice. Also what size is the monitor they can choke themselves to death trying to tackle a mouse that's too big. If he's around 15 inches or less I wouldn't feed him nothing larger then a fuzzie, but a couple of pinkies would be safer. Mines is around 15 inches the first time I fed him a mouse, he almost choked to death because the mouse was too big. Now he can tackle sub-adults nothing bigger then that for him right now. No matter what you go with when you feed him the first 3 times watch him. Don't worry if he stops with the mouse half have down his throat and push his tongue out, that's just him taking a breather before he gets back to the task at hand.

Don't make the mistake I did and feed him something a little too big. It scared me while he was swallowing I could tell he was having a tough time. Their stomach is bigger then their eyes lol.

After a while you'll know when he needs a bigger size mouse. Monitors grow fast mine doubled in size this year ( I only had him for a year) he could fit in the palm of my hand when I first got him. He was 5 or 6 inches now he's 15 inches. He's also shedding every month.

Also mice aren't humanely killed they use Co2 to kill them. They suffocate to death and it could take up to several minutes. The most humane way to do it is with dry ice it makes go to sleep before it finish them off. That's the humane way to do it.

There's a good link for you they will deliver them to you. What is a good place to order frozen mice(for my daughters monitor)from?
any pet store that sells reptiles should have them on hand, or at least be able to order them. What is a good place to order frozen mice(for my daughters monitor)from?

They've got a lot of different sizes, frequently run specials, and have different feeder animals.
at midwest reptiels.com
A good place that is easy is just a petsmart or a petco.... if you can find a person that has a business that just specializes in things like that it would probaly be alot cheaper...but i dont know what to tell you because i dont know what places are near you.... GOOD LUCK!! %26lt;33
The best place you could possibly go for frozen feeders is rodentpro.com. They have all sizes of mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and chicken. They have pictures for each size. They are relatively cheap as well and a large amount come from in a package.
Well, if you mean online, all of them will have a high shipping charge (understandably, since they have to provide plenty of insulation/dry ice to keep the mice frozen). Check out www.kingsnake.com. On the main page, you'll find a list of links to various websites where feeders (mice, rats, crickets, worms, etc.) can be bought. Your cheapest bet would be to find a supplier that's close enough to where you are that you could just pick up your order.
I always went with Mice On Ice, buy in bulk and keep them frozen and you get off way cheaper than the outrageous prices the pet store wants for 6.

I also raised my own mice, plus fed my Savannah Monitor Garter snakes from the back yard. The really big snakes were chopped in half (after being humanely killed, thank you) and one half frozen.

The wiggle factor that a snake has just makes it easier for a monitor to accept, they really go after them!!!
