I might be getting a pair of mice how often should i clean the cage?

i heard twice a week which seems like an awful lot (maybe it is just because i already have gerbils and their cage doesnt have to be cleaned so often) they will be probably living on a glass aquarium if i scoop the corner(s) they choose to use daily then would that mean i could change the bedding less often (like maybe only once a week) or is that being an irresponsible pet owner?I might be getting a pair of mice how often should i clean the cage?
mice can smell pretty bad if their cages arent cleaned for a while, so you have it clean it at least once a week.

twice a week is preferable because it keeps it clean and smelling good but if, like you said, you are going to be spot cleaning everyday then once a week is fine.I might be getting a pair of mice how often should i clean the cage?
You should cange the part the take a dumb in/pee pee in out and freshen it every day but i change mine every 3 or 4 days cause i have a lot to do...and then you should compleatly change the cage once every week!
Mice smell pretty bad, and males mark their territory often with little dribbles of pee. =/ Twice a week is a reasonable amount to change it.

Your gerbils need cleaning less because they are desert-animals. They don't go to the restroom as often, so they need less cleaning!
I had two pice. And omg don't get them. They may be enjoyable to some, but frankly, not matter how often you clean they stink so so bad. They piss while running in their wheel, which gets pee on the sides of the tank, they urinate on EVERYTHING. They are just not fun pets to have after the initial 3 week period.
I clean mine almost everyday. i like take half out and put more in, and stuff, i take parts that look dirty out everday, and the area under their water and food i change every day, and then why they sleep once a week.
Usually once per week, although it could be more because you have 2. It really depends on the aquarium. Mouse pee is pretty strong smelling, so I think you'll know when you need to clean it.
i have a mouse and i change him when he looks like he needs it, or starts smelling fowl. i do him about once a week.mice smell pretty bad by times so go by smell and the wetness of his bedding.
If your getting two you only need to clean the cage once a week.

But all mice are different so once you get them you have to use your own judgment.
they should be done every day, only takes 5 mins. Otherwise they will stink of pee and so will your home. Its more potent than gerbil pee
About every 3-4 days

Good Luck with your new mice!
