Are elephants really scared of mice?

In so many kids movies you see a poor elephant running away from a mouse. Is this really part of there nature? Are elephants really scared of mice?
it is actually a fact that elephants are scared of mice because there ears can pick up the mouses ultrasonic pitches (dogs couldn't even hear) and they can hear them 300 times louder then mice so they run or kill itAre elephants really scared of mice?
No. It's an old wives tale.

It may be from a child's story I'm not sure.
i highly doubt that they are because imagine how many mice are in the jungle or near elephants and i don't think that the elephants would make that big of a deal.
Yes
yes
i would have ten pounds on elly giving the mouse a good kickin, it teaches kids that no matter how big the person, they can still be scared of the small things.

Have a good afternoon
Actually the elephants find the mouse gets all squashed between ellies toes and it tickles so much they have learned to avoid the wee beasties.
