Reasons Lennie is the main character in Of Mice and Men?

I'm writing a paper and I need reasons Lennie is the main character over George or anyone else. Whether or not he is doesn't matter, I just need any reasons you can in support of Lennie. The more the better.Reasons Lennie is the main character in Of Mice and Men?
Lennie is the cause of most of the trouble/problems he and George have, even though he doesn't mean to be. Whenever they have to ';move on'; from where they've been working, it's because of Lennie's actions.





Lennie's fate is one of the most significant events in the story.
